FINNAIR, the national carrier of Finland, and British Airways have extended their codeshare agreement to include flights between London and Johannesburg, and between London and Cape Town. According to Jane Davidson, md of Development Promotions, which represents Finnair in South Africa, this new development will allow travellers using Finnair the benefits of through fares for travel between South Africa and Helsinki, as well as virtually seamless travel between the two destinations. Special through fares to/from Helsinki are being negotiated. (Heather Ruddock)
