AIR Zimbabwe is introducing a second daily flight from Johannesburg to Harare on May 4, with an early morning departure and a same day evening return. According to Air Zimbabwe’s manager in South Africa, Peter Mukarakate, the airline’s research showed that South African business travellers wanted an early morning flight, rather than the existing evening service which had meant that they had to spend two nights in Harare. The service will depart Johannesburg at 07h05 and arrive in Harare at 08h45 and will leave Harare at 19h00 and arrive in Johannesburg at 20h45. (Lucy Siebert)
