VIRGIN Blue, Australia’s low fare airline, and United Airlines, believed to be the industry leader in Australia-US travel, announced on June 5 that they will be forming a codeshare agreement making travel between Australia and the US easier. The agreement, which will soon come into effect, will involve a single United Airlines code for passengers flying on both airlines between Australia. (Heather Ruddock)
