A NEW hotel group, the Ambience Inn Group, has taken over three properties, the Floreal House in Oranjezicht, Cape Town; Bradach Manor in Knysna, Western Cape; and Hamilton Parks Country Lodge (formerly The Farmhouse Country Lodge) between Hazyview and White River in Mpumalanga. The overall management is under the control of Chris Harvie, owner of Rissington Inn in Hazyview where he will continue to be based. Each lodge has its own management structure and Harvie will also be responsible for marketing. "The various lodges all offer very high quality accommodation, with a strong emphasis on good hospitality at affordable prices and the aim is to appeal to both the South African and the international visitor" said Harvie. "These are three phenomenal properties, with much to offer, in three top tourism destinations". According to the group, it plans to acquire more properties in South Africa and Mozambique in the future. (Lucy Siebert)
