KLM will cancel selected flights between October 26 and early March 2027 as maintenance and repair delays leave more aircraft unavailable than planned.

The airline has not announced how many flights will be cancelled or which destinations will be affected.

The cancellations are intended to keep more long-haul aircraft available as reserves, reducing the risk of last-minute disruptions. Some services are also being operated with different aircraft from those originally assigned.

A KLM spokesperson told Dutch broadcaster NOS that the shortage stemmed from unplanned maintenance, damage repairs and scheduled work taking longer than expected. Delays in spare-parts deliveries have also contributed to the problem.
