1time covers its pax

1TIME in conjunction with AIG has introduced travel insurance to cover passengers for their trip. The new addition forms part of 1time’s new Bells and Whistles section on its website, which allows passengers to buy catering vouchers, book into their premier lounges and have itineraries sent to them via SMS. Once a passenger has selected the R25 per sector insurance option, 1time’s website contacts the AIG computer system, which immediately sends confirmation to the passenger from AIG. The insurance cover is available for all 1time travellers. The insurance covers a variety of travel claims, including bag pilferage and time delays. The cover for time delays cover trip cancellation benefits under certain conditions as well as a R375 per six-hour flight delay benefit.
